Natural Stone Institute
For over sixty five years, the Natural Stone Institute has served as the authoritative source of information on standards of natural stone workmanship and practice and the suitable application of natural stone products.
Membership in the association is worldwide and includes nearly 2,000 natural stone producers, exporters/importers, distributors/wholesalers, fabricators, finishers, installers, and industry suppliers — all committed to the highest standards of workmanship and ethics. American Society of Interior Designers
Founded in 1975, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization of people — designers, industry representatives, educators and students — committed to interior design. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, they strive to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives.
Their 28,000 members engage in a variety of professional programs and activities through a network of 48 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Industry Partner members include interior design industry manufacturers and their representatives, related trade associations and market centers. Industry Partners provide opportunities for interaction between interior designers and the interior furnishings industry that supplies services and manufactured products. Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (BAMP)
The Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh is one of the oldest builders’ associations in the country. Founded in 1938 by a group of South Hills builders to, in their words, “protect and promote the interests of general contractors engaged in the construction industry.” The founders’ primary reason for starting the organization was to unify builders against the threat of government control of the housing industry.
Throughout the years, the building industry has seen many changes, plenty of which BAMP helped pioneer. Today, the association is still banded together for nearly the same purpose: to protect and voice the rights of builders in the industry. BAMP is recognized nationally for its government affairs, educational and community efforts.
The Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland
The Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland represents Northeast Ohio’s network of craftsmen, innovators and problem solvers dedicated to building and enriching communities.
The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Cleveland was founded in 1943 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, advancement and professionalism of the building and associated industries.
Home Builders Association of Portage & Summit Counties
Home Builders Association of Portage & Summit Counties is an active membership organization who serves as the voice of the local building industry. Comprised of building experts that create and strengthen communities, HBA promotes and enhances local professionals who believe home ownership is the American dream attainable by everyone.
